This workshop will demonstrate the monotype printmaking process. Attendants will learn how to construct and print a monotype using watercolor and specific printmaking ink. This workshop will utilize both a table top printing press and a wooden spoon for a more at home DIY approach. At the end of the course, attendants will gain an understanding of the monotype printmaking process as well as their own set of uniquely made greeting cards.
Materials instructor provides for this class include watercolors, oil based printmaking ink, ink spatula, plexiglass, 400 grit sand paper, paint brushes, cuetips, card stock, printmaking paper, wooden spoon, printing press, hair dryer, wax paper, and rubber gloves.

Cancellation/Refund Policy: 

The Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen does not provide cash refunds for the cancellation of classes unless the class is canceled by the instructor or the Guild.

In order to request a withdrawal from a workshop, students must contact the Guild by phone at 717-431-8706 or contact us here at least 7 days prior to the class. Students who request a withdrawal at least 7 days prior to the class will receive a credit that can be used toward another workshop. No refunds or transfers will be given to cancellation requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice of the class.

    Andrew Reineberg received his BFA in Printmaking from Millersville University in 2016, but has been making since a child at the kitchen table with his grandparents. He has since taught community classes at local galleries and institutions and shown his work at Millersville University's Sykes Gallery and locally at the Lancaster Museum of Art and various pop-up shows around town.
