Elevate your blacksmithing skills to new heights with our immersive all-day workshop focused on crafting a blacksmithed bell. Tailored for intermediate students with prior experience in the forge, this intensive session offers a deep dive into the intricate art of bell forging.

Throughout the day, participants will master advanced forging techniques, honing their abilities in shaping and manipulating metal to create a stunning and functional bell. Under the expert guidance of instructor, Nicholas Tucci, students will delve into the nuances of bell design, learning how to achieve the perfect tone and resonance.

From selecting the right materials to fine-tuning every detail, participants will gain invaluable insights into the craftsmanship behind this ancient tradition. Alongside practical instruction, discussions on historical and cultural aspects of bell making will enrich the learning experience, providing context and inspiration for your own creations.

All necessary materials and equipment will be provided, ensuring a seamless and productive workshop experience. Whether you’re seeking to expand your repertoire as a blacksmith or simply indulge your passion for metalworking, this all-day workshop promises to be a rewarding journey of skill development and artistic expression.

The class will take place outside, rain or shine. We will set up a tent if there is rain. Please wear closed-toe shoes and no loose clothing. Students must be at least 16 years old and be able to swing a hammer to participate.

Cancellation/Refund Policy: 

The Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen does not provide cash refunds for the cancellation of classes unless the class is canceled by the instructor or the Guild.

In order to request a withdrawal from a workshop, students must contact the Guild by phone at 717-431-8706 or contact us here at least 7 days prior to the class. Students who request a withdrawal at least 7 days prior to the class will receive a credit that can be used toward another workshop. No refunds or transfers will be given to cancellation requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice of the class.

Please note that we are unable to provide refunds for missed classes due to personal scheduling conflicts. If you are sick with Covid-19 or believe that you may have been recently exposed, please email kelly@pacrafts.org.
