Discover the captivating art of fused glass in our exciting and hands-on class! In this creative journey, you will explore the limitless possibilities of glass fusion and learn to transform individual pieces of glass into stunning works of art. Students can make either a Fused Glass Quilt wall hanging or a Mosaic Quilt Garden Flag. Both designs measure 8″x8″.

Students will then select a pattern, decide on colors, and then cut the glass and assemble the design. The fused design can be displayed on the wall or in an easel.

The Mosaic design can be displayed from a garden horizontal flag pole. Once you have chosen a pattern, the next step is to bring it to life with an array of dazzling colors. With a spectrum of vibrant hues at your fingertips, you’ll be able to curate a palette that perfectly captures the essence of your design. From bold and striking combinations to soft and harmonious blends, the choice of colors will add depth and personality to your final creation.

Kathleen will fire the piece at her home studio before returning it to the Guild for pick up.

All materials are included in the tuition.

Cancellation/Refund Policy:

The Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen does not provide cash refunds for the cancellation of classes unless the class is canceled by the instructor or the Guild.

In order to request a withdrawal from a workshop, students must contact the Guild by phone at 717-431-8706 or contact us here at least 7 days prior to the class. Students who request a withdrawal at least 7 days prior to the class will receive a credit that can be used toward another workshop. No refunds or transfers will be given to cancellation requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice of the class.

Please note that we are unable to provide refunds for missed classes due to personal scheduling conflicts. If you are sick with Covid-19 or believe that you may have been recently exposed, please email kelly@pacrafts.org.
