Instructor: Lisa Stuckey

Skill Level: Beginner

Gelli printing is a form of mono-printing in which acrylic paints are applied to flexible printing plates of gelatin using a brayer. In this fun and playful 2-day workshop, you will cut out paper stencils inspired by artist Henri Matisse. The stencils are used on the gelli plate to block out colors of paint which creates exciting, one-of-a-kind results. We will discuss color, composition, and how to add texture using found objects. Gelli printing is addicting and you will leave inspired, with many colorful, one-of-a-kind prints!

Please note *** A materials fee of $20 is due to the instructor at the start of the class.
