Instructor: Master Artisan Dan Hayward

Skill Level: Intermediate – This class builds on glass cutting and soldering skills learned in a Beginner Stained Glass or its equivalent.  Not recommended for someone with no prior stained glass experience

During this one-day workshop, PGC Master Artisan Dan Hayward will lead participants through the process of making 3-D butterflies.  After a quick refresher on cutting and grinding glass, you will select from among several patterns and from a rich array of glass. Dan will show you how to pin a free-form object for soldering and how to use wire reinforcement to keep the pieces rigid after completion.  Everyone should be able to complete two butterflies during the session.

All materials and tools are included in the tuition.
