Instructor: Dan Hayward

Skill Level: All

During this workshop, stained glass Master Artisan Dan Hayward will share his techniques for creating brightly colored flowers from stained glass. Based on the process used in Dan’s popular Snowflake classes, he will help you through each of the steps from selecting materials, shaping with a grinder, applying copper foil, positioning the pieces, soldering, and finishing.

Participants will be able to select pre-cut diamond shapes from a variety of colors and textures of glass, and half-marbles for both sides of the center of the flower. The end result will be ready-to-hang pieces from 5”-6” in diameter which will provide a colorful accent in any window year-round.

Each person will create 2-3 stained glass flowers. No prior experience is required.
