Skill Level: Intermediate – Prior beginner or equivalent class required.
During this 1-day class, you will make a 3-D succulent using a pattern for the leaves and step-by-step instructions provided by the instructor. All of the cutting, grinding, and foiling steps will be familiar to anyone who has taken any of Dan’s 2-day beginner, leaves, or spiderwebs classes. Cutting the glass for the 15 pieces is fairly simple – no hard curves; what’s challenging (aside from picking the glass colors from the wide assortment available) will be soldering in 3 dimensions. As always, Dan will assist in each step, plus he has written and illustrated instructions, and he has a mold to assist with the 3-D soldering.
The reward for finishing your succulent early will be to make a flower – Dan’s easiest project – using pre-cut diamonds and half-marbles.
The Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen does not provide cash refunds for the cancellation of classes unless the class is canceled by the instructor or the Guild.
In order to request a withdrawal from a workshop, students must contact the Guild by phone at 717-431-8706 or contact us here at least 7 days prior to the class. Students who request a withdrawal at least 7 days prior to the class will receive a credit that can be used toward another workshop. No refunds or transfers will be given to cancellation requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice of the class.
