Skill Level: Beginner
Our new class for beginners is designed to introduce individuals to the art of crafting lidded boxes through woodturning. This class encompasses the fundamental aspects of creating a functional and aesthetically pleasing turned box with a lid. Students will choose from several interesting wooden blanks for making the box and lid. Students will learn to safely use a lathe, roughing, spindle, and detail gouges to shape the wood blank for your one-of-a-kind turned box.
No turning experience is necessary. Safety glasses are required for this workshop. All materials are included in the tuition.
