We offer a comprehensive pool of mentors TO ALL PGC MEMBERS who can help you to set up, manage, and build your craft business. Mentors will offer information and support on a variety of subjects and will focus on developing your business skills rather than enhancing your artistic growth.
(*NOTE: If you are an emerging artist and would like a one-on-one relationship with a single mentor, we recommend you contact your local Chapter for recommendations).
Be A Mentor:
We need YOU!!! You do not need to be an expert in everything. You need be a PGC Member in good standing, have a good foundation in your subject matter, and are willing to help your fellow PGC members. Once you apply, your name and information will be put in a central list or pool. When we receive a request for assistance or information in a particular subject area, we will search the mentor database by subject area and then match the requestor (mentee) with a mentor on the list who has experience in that subject matter. Here’s a chance for you to share your ideas, suggestions, knowledge in the area(s) you know best! You should then receive a call or text from the requestor/mentee. The result can be a single phone call or email. Or, if a good rapport develops, communications can be for as long as both parties find value in it. You may end up helping each other based on each other’s knowledge and experience in different subject areas. It may even result in building a great working relationship and/or a friendship!
