Ann is an abstract, contemporary artist who specializes in acrylic mixed media, cold wax and oil and acrylic pouring. Ann also works heavily in alcohol inks and dabbles in watercolor. She enjoys adding serious texture to her works by using unusual materials to add interest to the canvas. Ann also teaches art classes in several counties in Central PA. She absolutely loves sharing her knowledge with others who have the same passion or simply want to try something new. Some of her artistic influences are many of the modern and post-modern expressionistic artists of the 60’s and 70’s, primarily Jackson Pollock, Willem de Kooning, Jane Plum and Mark Rothko. Ann has exhibited in numerous juried shows, cultural centers and galleries, as well as local community shows and art galleries.
